Alice disappeared into the house with no intent on coming back to the party thanking the gods aunt Vi had restocked the fridge with beer. Once she was in her sweats she sat down with a beer and started a movie.
Outside the party continued where only the people that saw what happened knowing Alice had disappeared.
Clover finally found her way over to Seth. “I have a little welcome home gift for you,” she said waving a bag in front of him with her arms out for a hug.
"They're still young though, just like us. We just started earlier. That's all," Violet said leaning into Red.
"And there is nothing wrong with that. Just means you have more time with them," Clover pointed out. She wasn't getting any younger. "You never know. Maybe Alice and Seth will start a family early too and you'll get to see Grandkids within the next twenty years."
"Man are you trying to crash this plane?" Seth griped at his cousin as the Cessna was buffeted about by the air currents. It had been a bumpy flight since shortly after take off.
"I might if you don't shut the hell up," Dixon answered, giving one of the wings a sudden tilt to screw with the younger man.
Seth cursed and gripped at the arm rest, mumbling under his breath about how much he hated small air craft.
Dixon didn't pay him any mind as he leveled the plane out again, "We're almost there princess. Just keep holding into your husband's hand there," he antagonized, glancing into the mirror and making eye contact with Alice long enough to flash a grin.
Alice looked over to Seth from where she was in time out across from him. "This is your fault," she sneered at him. To her it was at least his fault. If he had just listened to her about which was the best dinosaur they wouldn't have gotten in a fight," she continued to glare at him.
Alice had grown up in England under a strict house because of what she was and what she meant to her family being their only female daughter. She was the only one that could continue their legacy which was a lot of pressure so as soon as she had enough money she took off and started traveling the world with just her backpack and her friend Lamont.
That's how they ended up in this shitty little town when the beater they bought in Florida broke down and the mechanic told them it would take more money than the car was worth to fix it.
So they were stuck there until they saved up enough cash to get a new one. So what was the best option? They went to a bar to drink.
