The Banditos

Recommended Posts

When the scout came back to tell them that a group of Reich soldiers were coming the large group of bandits prepared. It wouldn't be long before the group of soldiers were within the barren street. No one was seen and no sounds. The houses there appeared to have been ransacked many times over. This part of the town they were in appeared to be abandoned as the rocks crunched under their feet. In the distance there was a howl of something that sounded like a pack of wild wolves.

It would make the youngest of the group shift uncomfortably. As Ilia shifted he looked over to Seth. "I don't like this place. How long until we get to the base?" he asked the other man. As he said it there was a sound off to the right of them. It put the soldiers on edge but what they didn't know is that they were already surrounded. They had walked right into the middle of the group of bandits.

Even as the soldiers would take defensive positions and one would go to see what made the sound. It would be from all of the other directions that the other group would come out weapons pointed at them. "Guns on the ground or we kill all of you," Alice said as she took a lead position. This wasn't all of them. They could see a gleam of a sniper on one of the buildings behind her.

Seth glanced to the younger man, "Won't be much-"

The sound cut him off. Seth looked towards it and raised his weapon to the ready. As the first of the bandits appeared they retreated for cover but it soon became clear they were badly outnumbered.

Seth started to aim for their leader anyway but a round from the sniper clipped past his head. As he cowered from it another bandot yelled that he wouldn't miss again.

"Fuck," he curser violently, looking back to the others, "put them down boys," he muttered. They all had other weapons hidden on them.

He set his rifle down carefully and slid it out into view before standing, motioning for the others to stay covered.

“And why is that soldier boy?” Alice said indicating for Joe to start patting them down for more weapons. She wasn’t gentle about it, or a prude.  When she found something she would strip it off them and through it into the pile.

“Already done soldier boy. You’re lucky we’re not going to kill you right here, we know your kind would. We prefer to eat our enemies,” whether it was a joke or not was hard to tell as Joe finished off on Ilia and moved to the next.

Alice smirked to the man. It was half true. Most people tried to make deals with her to spare their life. The Reich on the other hand didn’t tolerate non-Russians and it was exetremely apparent she wasn’t Russian.

When Joe got down the line and the weapons were removed another two people started to collect up the pile of weapons while Alice and Joe tied up the men facing the wall. “If you weren’t such an asshole we might have just left you here,” Alice muttered into Seth’s ear.

By then Seth had opted for silence because it was clear there wasn't going to be an opening to fight free yet. It was Vitali that stirred the pot. As Joe started to bind his wrists the big man chuckled, "You're a handsy one. Bet a slut like you would love to get bent over one of these cars."
