Fortunately since Alice was considered 'precious cargo' her struggling wasn't met with a tazer. She was able to do some damage to a few of the people dragging her inside and they looked like they were going to retaliate but then pulled back at the last moment.

They took Alice off to a bedroom down the hall and restrained her to the bed. Seth on the other hand was tied to a separate chair.

Seth wasn't as fortunate as they were dragged in. When the first hit from the tazer didn't phase him one of them turned up the force of the shock and held it against his neck while another delivered a blow to his diaphram - the combined attack was enough to leave him gasping for air long enough for them to force him into the chair and secure him to it. It took a minute for him to recover enough to catch a full breath and by then there wasn't much he could do to resist.

With the commotion down the hall Seth took advantage of the distraction - they'd made the mistake of unbinding his wrists to secure them to the chair. Using a method his father had once described to him he shifted forward, braced himself briefly knowing what would come next was going to hurt, and rocked forward enough to plant his feet against the floor before throwing himself back against the wall with enough force to break the wooden frame.

As the chair broke Seth thrashed, feeling a sharp pain through his shoulders as he was finally able to bring his arms around. He immediately started to shift - but the cultists had come well prepared. One of them froze up in fear but the bolder of the two, a wolf himself, took advantage of the brief period of vulnerability during any change and lunged at Seth, stabbing his neck with a syringe filled with a serum the witches had concocted specifically for this possibility.

The result was almost instantaneous. Seth yelled out as a kind of pain he'd never felt rushed through his veins - all he could do was writhe on the floor helplessly.
